Whether it’s using gaming as a way to combat loneliness and depression, or applying games technology to healthcare settings in order to drive better patient outcomes, there is growing evidence of the positive impact games have in healthcare.
During the recent lockdowns, many people turned to games to connect with others and improve their mental health. In healthcare settings, providers are increasingly looking to newer technologies such as virtual reality and gamification of digital platforms to connect with patients and achieve better results.
